WHEREAS, the State Textbook Law, Ala. Code §16-36-22 (l975), and other local Acts, provide that certain school systems may use textbooks other than those on the State-adopted list:
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the following local board of education has requested and is hereby given approval by the State Board of Education to use the following textbooks:
