TeachinAlabama was established by the Alabama State Department of Education to increase the number of qualified teachers and administrators for interviews and employment. TeachinAlabama serves as a gateway for employment to every school district in the State of Alabama. TeachinAlabama is a website designed to easily locate teaching and administrative vacancies – and apply for free with one on-line application.



TeachinAlabama is a website that will allow you to securely submit your employment information (protected by encryption software). TeachinAlabama then authorizes you to:

  • Have a single electronic application that will be reviewed and evaluated by every school district in the State of Alabama
  • Search for teaching and administrative jobs within Alabama
  • Create a new User ID and Password to create a new application on-line
  • Login as an existing User to update your electronic application at anytime or select to apply to new vacancies
  • Have a single application that will be seen by every school district in the State of Alabama
