ADOPTED APPROVAL OF TEACHER EDUCATION PROGRAMS, ATHENS STATE UNIVERSITY, Athens, Alabama

WHEREAS, Athens State University teacher education programs were reviewed on July 26-29, 1998, and on September 22, 1998, in accordance with Alabama Administrative Code, Rule No. 290-3-3-.56(2)(a)2.; and

WHEREAS, compliance with State Board of Education rules has been verified; and

WHEREAS, the State Superintendent of Education recommends approval of the programs.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Alabama State Board of Education hereby approves the following programs, with approval to expire on April 9, 2002:

Class B Collaborative Teacher (K-6 and 6-12)
