The codes and descriptions contained in SUBJECT AND PERSONNEL CODES are to be used when completing the LEA Personnel Report for the school year and to ascertain "in-field" status of school system employees for the school year. Each individual in the local school system who is to be included in the LEA Personnel Report must have a code from this publication accurately describing his/her position or subject(s) taught.
In the Professional Employee Personnel Codes and Areas of Supervision sections, descriptions and in-field requirements are stated. Grade ranges are indicated as part of the "in-field" requirement. Those grade ranges are defined as:
