Question:   What school systems are participating in the Teacher Quality Enhancement Project pilot program?

Question:   How can our school system become involved in the Teacher Quality pilot program?

Answer:   The program is being piloted in eight school systems in the state. During the pilot phase, implementation is limited to those systems identified for participation by the Task Force on Teacher Quality. To date, no decision has been made regarding implementation beyond the pilot phase. To view the list of pilot sites, click here.


Question:   Can you provide our school system assistance in setting up a mentoring program?

Answer:   We are presently in the pilot phase of the Teacher Quality Mentoring Program. Included in the pilot phase is the development of a teacher induction and mentoring manual. Upon completion of the manual, each school system will be given a copy, and orientation sessions will be held. Technical assistance for developing a local mentoring program is available.
