SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION - STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION URGED TO REQUIRE MONEY MANAGEMENT COURSE IN CURRICULUM FOR SENIOR HIGH STUDENTS. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, BOTH HOUSES THEREOF CONCURRING, That the State Department of Education
and the Alabama State Board of Education are urged to require local school districts to provide courses of instructions for 11th and 12th grade students that shall provide them with a basic understanding of money and money management, personal finance, business, the economy, and investing.
