COMMENDING ELIZABETH FISHER ON BEING SELECTED AS THE “BARBARA FANNIN MEMORIAL EMPLOYEE OF THE QUARTER” OCTOBER — DECEMBER 2016
WHEREAS, Elizabeth Fisher, Administrative Support Assistant III in the Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE), Office of Career Technical Education/Workforce Development, exhibits a positive attitude and is always cooperative; and WHEREAS, Elizabeth Fisher has been an Administrative Support Assistant at the ALSDE for almost 12 years and during this time has not only excelled in her assigned duties but also goes above the minimum requirements to ensure that tasks are completed in a thorough manner; and WHEREAS, Elizabeth Fisher has a “let's get it done attitude,” and is willing to go to extraordinary lengths to assist others in getting tasks accomplished; and WHEREAS, Elizabeth Fisher is very resourceful, dependable, goal—orientated, and maintains her composure and professionalism under all circumstances, even during stressful situations; and WHEREAS, Elizabeth Fisher possesses a positive attitude, is courteous when interacting with her peers and ALSDE personnel, and will do her best to lift someone's spirits when the individual is having a bad day; and WHEREAS, Elizabeth Fisher also communicates extremely well with the public and represents the department well: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Alabama State Board of Education does hereby commend Elizabeth Fisher for her selection as the recipient of the “Barbara Fannin Memorial Employee of the Quarter Award” for October — December 2016, and expresses its appreciation for her exemplary service to the Department, to this board, and, ultimately, to Alabama's public elementary and secondary schools.
